2016 seen a rise in cream and browns in the bathroom, which I actually loved. For me it gave you the option to go traditional or contemporary, the warm browns and creams gave it a subtle look of luxury whilst still maintaining the homey look that you strive to achieve in the bathroom. Just the same way that spas have this colour scheme as it is a relaxing look that many people fins comforting. However, what is going to step up to the throne this year?
White, Black And Grey
My prediction for the number 1 colour scheme for bathrooms is black, grey and white. Yes, I know white has always been the base layer of bathrooms. The easy option that people turn to if they can’t think of anything else. However, the specific colour scheme that I’m talking about is modern. It’s minimalistic and luxurious looking. This doesn’t mean you have to dig deep in your pockets or break the bank to achieve this look. In fact, more and more people are buying bathrooms online for a lot cheaper. Which is why I think more and more people will start going for a more luxury look. Because although the look is expensive, it most certainly won’t be the cost when you’re paying for it. Take a look at an example of the type of bathroom furniture that we might be seeing more and more of this year
We already seen a few of these popping up a lot in 2016. And if you remember, I was obsessed with them. Still am. I really do think that these baths will become very popular this year because it looks expensive but you can get it for a cheap price. Not only that but it looks and feels luxurious therefore I can’t see them dying down anytime soon. And with them looking just as good against the wall, you don’t actually need to have as much space in the bathroom as once thought. Because when they first started to appear, they were used to be in the centre of bathrooms, however they are starting to be placed against the wall and yet they still look marvellous.
